To borrow a dialogue from a Telugu movie, I admit that blogging antha veezy kadu. Even to put together a couple of paragraphs that live up to your own expectations, you need to spend at least 15-20 minutes. Though I do spend a good amount of time almost daily in browsing the internet, coming up with some thing to write about and, more importantly, writing it well would be no mean task. No wonder many bloggers are abandoning blogging for tweeting. But, I personally prefer blogging over tweeting because it gives me satisfaction and some insights about myself when I look back at my old posts in this blog.
If you are not a new visitor to my blog, you will know that my posts are usually about my travels, my interests (movies and eating out) and updates on my personal life. This post is one of such quick updates.
I have just returned from a 3-week long business tour of US and Canada. Though I like touring in USA (because of its easy going culture and loads of friends I have in major cities of USA), this tour was a little too long for my liking. In 18 days I visited 12 cities – Washington-DC, Charlotte, St. Louis, New York, Philadelphia, Toronto, Winnipeg (Canada), San Jose, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh and Atlanta. Most of the days I was checking into a new place at night and checking out in the morning to attend few sales calls and then to fly out to a new place in the evening. No wonder I was so glad when I returned to Hyderabad last week.
The pre-tour preparation and the tour itself forced me to abandon whatever little fitness regime I was following in the past few months. With winter finally embracing Hyderabad, I will have to fight with myself to get up early in the morning.
I am looking forward to the deep winter months of December and January during which I am planning some road trips into coastal Andhra. I am also looking forward to James Cameron’s “Avatar” to hit the screens next month.
